My work is a constant search for the best way to interpret the ideas and feelings I am experiencing in any one moment or phase.
Translating an image and presenting it in a way of sharing facets of our identity with the observer and a sense of connectedness.
My current working processes are lino printing and mono-printing on the kitchen table. The Print Shed, a bespoke print studio and workshop in our village, has sadly moved and I do not have my own press, but I am enjoying experimenting with new techniques and love printing with colour.

I am an abstract artist working in mixed media including the use of inks, acrylics, and dyes on both paper and cloth, often using stitch or word to enhance the pieces. Along side HACS, I am a member of Artistree and The Shropshire Visual Art Network and have exhibited and curated shows throughout The Marches area. I am a member of the h-Art Northern advisory team.

After immersing myself in printmaking for several years I've recently returned to drawing and painting, creating mixed media work with ink, watercolour and oil pastel.
I'm inspired by dramatic seascapes, wild countryside, ruins, rivers and old working steam engines.
I graduated in furniture design from Leeds in the 1960’s and then worked in the industry before marrying and bringing up my family.
Since then I have developed my watercolour painting and exhibited widely around the Three Counties. More recently I have been experimenting with other painting techniques including mixed media and acrylics.
I am a self taught, home-based studio artist creating a mixture of commission artworks comprising wall art, leather jacket art & artist supplier to leather apparel and accessory designers.
My paintings are a journey of discovery from the very first mark until the final brushstroke.
Creating a painting embraces technique and also layers of thinking, feeling and time to let it develop and evolve often over many months. Inspiration and spontaneity are always necessary to complete a painting. I am influenced by the world around me and use the language of colour, rhythm, shape and form within each painting.
Forever fascinated by the natural world, and more recently investigating our mechanical response to that world.
Over recent years artwork has incorporated landscapes, butterflies, birds and currently those most magnificent flying machines.
I am an illustrator, artist, crafts person.
I am originally from Japan. I went to the Art college, qualified with a BA Illustration degree, and I have a family growing here in Hereford. Creative things are a big part of my life. I often use art as a messenger to the wider public. Thought provoking, changing people’s lives in better directions.
With a background in life drawing, I’m an acrylic painter of figures in landscapes and historical interpretation.
“Magnis” is after a visualised video on behalf of Rotherham Museums and Archives; but with figures and a town gate.
I received 121 from a professional painter Robin Holder and this is much better than a group tuition.
I am a self taught artist. Subject matter ranges from portraits, both animal and human figures, wildlife and abstract. I love colour and movement. I have exhibited both in London and Kent and have done tuition workshops.
I have painted for the last 40 years.
Ian trained as a graphic designer and worked in the art and design departments of organisations as diverse as London Zoo and Woolworths.
Now living in Herefordshire, Ian paints in watercolour working from his own photographs (and imagination) in a home studio which he shares with his novelist wife, Eve.
In 1996, after raising my children, I attended Herefordshire College of Art and Design, where I gained a BA (hons) degree in Illustration.
I work in watercolour, oil and graphite, and I also produce greetings cards, which are mainly images from my paintings, which I sell locally and at various outlets around Herefordshire.
I love oil paint, the texture and smell, and the effect of putting different colours together!
People painting I enjoy, using the composition a bit like collage.
Putting different images together until I find a pleasing story.
I love fiction and painting is somewhat like writing a book.
